The FoneWorx Fax to Email bureau-based service is a secure facility that operates over 600 channels of digital fax services which are connected to 20 primary rate interfaces which receive faxes on a “non-sequential basis”.  This effectively means no one, either inside FoneWorx or external, could anticipate which “line” or “port” a fax will be received on.  This means that the possibility of intercepting a fax on the FoneWorx platform is extremely remote.

In addition the architecture of the server environment limits human access on these machines and does not leave the system vulnerable to security issues and keeps information secure and private both internally and externally, thereby allowing the end-user to feel comfortable with the security and privacy of all their documents.

No one, except management, has direct access to any of the fax servers and only designated personnel have access via password controls.

No member of staff views incoming or outgoing (Tiff or PDF) faxes as this is an automated and digital process.  There is no human intervention in the processing or emailing of faxes.

In addition, the fax platform is a secure processing platform and “tunnel” to receive and transmit faxes.

No copies of faxes are made and no storage of faxes received and converted to Tiff or PDF is allowed.

FoneWorx conforms to a strict code of conduct and also conforms to the Telkom Code of Conduct and the WASPA Code of Conduct.
